Company History

Dean Thompson has been active in the Roofing Industry and Community for over 30 Years. After working as a Journeyman Roofer for the Local Roofers Union, Dean started his own roofing business in 1975. Dean operated his company as a sole proprietor until the late 1980's. During that time Dean recognized the ever changing needs of the customer, and acquired a General Contractor's license in order to offer a broader range of services. In 1990, he formed West Coast General Construction, Inc. Then in 1993, Dean formally registered the company as West Coast General Construction Dba Thompson Roofing & Gutters, Inc. Thompson Roofing has always specialized in Residential Re-roofing and Challenging Applications. We now handle other household projects including gutters, windows, skylight installations, carpentry, and masonry. Our goal is simple - 100% Customer Satisfaction!
